Jeanneau launches its new Sun Odyssey 410 for 2019

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410

Jeanneau is proud to announce the expansion of the 8th Generation of the Sun Odyssey range with the new Sun Odyssey 410, that will be unveiled at the upcoming autumn shows!

True to this new generation, the Sun Odyssey 410 redefines movement aboard and features the ultimate in comfort and performance, for a unique experience while under way.

Designed in collaboration with Marc LOMBARD Yacht Design and PIATON BONET Yacht Design, the Sun Odyssey 410 is a real invitation to relax and enjoy the comfort and general well-being on board.

A new vison of life on board

Designed by naval architects, Philippe Briand and Marc Lombard, with the contribution of designer Jean-Marc Piaton, the new line of Sun Odysseys successfully meets the challenge of incorporating contemporary features into a harmonious design.

These sailboats revolutionise sailing: they are alone in their size category to offer a layout featuring easy movement about the boat without any obstacle. The walkaround sidedeck slopes directly down to the level of the cockpit! This feature results in incomparable ease of movement on board and makes this line unique in its class. Life on board has never been so simple and enjoyable!

On the heels of two successful sailboat models launched last year, the Sun Odyssey 440 and 490, the line is now expanding to include a third model: the Sun Odyssey 410. This newest addition is designed by Marc Lombard, a longstanding design partner who draws much of his inspiration from race boats.

Beyond limits

It features the ultimate in comfort and performance, for a unique experience while under way.
The contemporary Sun Odyssey 410 benefits from all the latest technical and technological advances in architecture:

  • a hard chine running the full length of the hull, for a more powerful and stable hull;
  • an inverted bow, for fine entry, better weight distribution and a distinctive look;
  • the bow stands clear of the water, for less drag and greater speed;
  • self-aligning twin rudders, with self-aligning bearings, for an improved feel of the helm;
  • retractable bowthruster, ultra powerful for greater manoeuvrability;
  • cathedral standing rigging,
  • an L-shaped keel,
  • and an integrated bowsprit

An inviting deck plan

Sailing was never so enjoyable aboard a 41-foot sailboat. With her powerful hull, the Sun Odyssey 410 perfects the art of sailing and comfort on board.

The model is particularly secure, featuring sidedecks without obstacles and comfortable coaming.

All is as with her predecessors from the 8th generation, the Sun Odyssey 410 benefits from a lower boom, which facilitates access to the sail and increases the sail area.

Centralised winches, which can be controlled directly from the cockpit, also contribute to safety on board.
