Route du Rhum

Friday July 29, at 1302hrs CEST marks exactly 100 days before the start of the 12th edition of La Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe. It is a symbolic point in time for sailors who are set to compete, for the general public who plan to visit the race start and finish, for partners and the organizers who are counting down the time remaining.

Hamble Classics Regatta

The 7th Hamble Classics Regatta will be held on 10-11 September 2022, co-hosted by Hamble River Sailing Club and the Royal Air Force Yacht Club. The founding mission of Hamble Classics in 2016 was for a fun and inclusive event where owners of classic yachts and their crews celebrate their shared passion for sailing. The Classics are an important and growing fleet and the RORC Rating Office wishes to encourage future participation of classic boats in IRC racing.

Roschier Baltic Sea Race

The Royal Ocean Racing Club has received strong interest for the Roschier Baltic Sea Race, with over 30 teams expected for the inaugural 630-mile offshore race which starts and finishes outside Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Contenders for Line Honours and the overall win under IRC are among the current entries, as well as passionate corinthian Finnish teams lured by the excitement of racing in home waters.

Video Rolex Giraglia

For nearly seventy years, the Rolex Giraglia has ignited passion in the sport of sailing. Growing from humble and noble intentions, it has developed considerable international standing and heritage. Rolex, event partners since 1998, has always appreciated the respect for continuity and tradition shown by the participants and organizers.

IRC National Championship

One of the pinnacle events of the IRC rating system in the UK, will take place over 10-12 June from Cowes. This year’s edition of the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s IRC National Championship will be its 24th and as usual will feature a mixed line-up of yachts from across the size and age spectrum, allowing the IRC rating system to create a level playing field between them.

WASZP Europeans

The WASZP European Games will head to Baie de Quiberon from 17-23 July 2023 for the class’s first major international championship in France. Based out of the Ecole National de Voile et des Sport Nautique (ENVSN), the event is expected to attract in excess of 150 boats! 

VIDEO Vendée Arctique

At 5:00 pm on Sunday 12th June 2022 will be given the start of the Vendée Arctique, the first chapter of the Vendée Globe 2024 adventure. The skippers will leave Les Sables d'Olonne and head north towards the icy waters of the Arctic Circle. 

ClubSwan Racing

Excitement is building as the fast-approaching 2022 ClubSwan Racing season promises a further helping of fun and high-adrenaline competition at six spectacular Mediterranean venues.

IRC European Championship

From 24th to 28th August the 2022 IRC European Championship will be sailed as part of Damen Breskens Sailing Weekend. The venue for the event is Breskens in the southwest of the Netherlands.

Hempel World Cup Series headlines at Dutch Water Week

The Dutch cities of Almere and Lelystad, on the banks of Markermeer lake, will host the 2022 edition of Hempel World Cup Series Allianz Regatta, 27 May - 5 June, as part of Dutch Water Week.
