At the opening evening of the 2018 Boot Düsseldorf, the jury for the “European Yacht of the Year” Award announced the winners for 2018. Now in its 15th year, the European Yacht of the Year is the most comprehensive awards programme for new production yachts. Twelve judges, representing all the main European nautical magazines, appraised each of the nominated yachts during the autumn of 2017.
The iconic Yacht Club de Monaco, with its unique position on the international yachting scene, will host the official opening of the 2018 The Nations Trophy Mediterranean League. From 27th to 31st March the Swan One Design classes, ClubSwan 50 - ClubSwan 42 - Swan 45, will compete to conquer the first leg of this new circuit.

Late this afternoon the five ClubSwan 50s competing in the Nord Stream Race were beyond the half way stage of leg two from Copenhagen to Stockholm. At 420 miles this is the longest of the 2017 race’s four legs.
A record fleet of 31 Swan yachts from 12 nationalities have competed out of the waters of Palma during the 36 edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE regatta, where the impressive number of 138 boats set to line up carrying the national flags of 26 different countries.
